Newcastle v mackems

The first of 2 very nervewracking days for me...

Can't sleep, feel anxious, butterflies in my stomach....

All that matters today is beating the mackems!!

Is it too early for a wee dram to settle my nervesa!

No it isnt deano get that wee dram into you man..lol...I got up at 7am had a decent kip pre-derby eve....helped by bottles of king cobra.....as usual am nervous as hell..........am doing the really BORING thing today and watching it at yem instead in the town with mates...........got the family over...........I wont begin to 'relax' until I hold out til mid day from the alcohol. I am never confident of beating the SMB's as it means so much.............
 
Good show................I try not to mix my golf with football...........but sometimes its hard not to...

erm did I tell you about my works society semi final I played in 18 months ago at mine against a Mackem!..I was one down at the 18th tee...................won the hole.....and won the play off at the 1st......canny bloke decent banter......he didnt come for a pint like afterwards..............God did I celebrate my win man...lol
 
2 very poor sides which is odd because I didn't think "The best league in the world" did poor sides?

1st half was like watching paint dry,surely the 2nd cannot be any worse?

Poor? An unjust sending off and a well fought point by a ten man team....you're obviously not a football fan.

If you think that was unjust then words fail me.

A poor game from 2 very mediocre sides.

MON doing his usual,getting his side to play in a style that is dire to watch.A more over rated gaffer you will struggle to find.

Tiote was watching the ball at every moment. I agree with you about MON but do not tar my side with the same brush as them.

2 mediocre sides? Like I say, you do not know much about football. Stick to golf.
 
Not a classic. Definitely a red card for me for Tiote. Sunderland do play the typical O'Neill way which I've never liked but I do like the way Newscastle are trying to play under Pardew. I think both sides will be mid table with no dramas
