....& lasses. Apologies ladies!

In the bag:
Taylormade R7 Quad 10.5º Reg shaft
Cleveland HiBore XLS (Gold) 3 wood Reg shaft (cracking club)
Cleveland Halo 22º Reg shaft
Benross VX50 3-PW
Cobra C Series 52+60º Mid Sole
Benross SR6 II 34"

Play off 17. I probably 2 putt every green so hopefully this'll come down when the putting improves.

Currently play here: Worfield

Im not originally from around this area. Lived in North London + Kent all my life until i moved to Wolverhampton about 3 years ago so haven't played that many courses around here.

Looks like a nice place mate, what are your subs a year?

I have been using a halo 19* but with a stiff shaft, hell of a club but i struggle to keep things consistent with it. How do you find yours?

Subs just over £700.

The halo,im in the same boat as you, mate. When you catch it right,it don't half go. Personally,1 out of every 3 shots with it ends up somewhere unintended. Thinking of swapping it with a HiBore XLS,the same as my 3 wood as that is ridicuously easy to hit.

looking for a 3 wood of some sort my self, will bare that hibore in mind then!

Don't think you'd be dissapointed with it. I tried quite a few & that was by far the best. Probably the best 3-wood i've ever owned.

Yidio.....Worfield....hooray, some more Shropshire guys!
I know it pretty well, well enough to shoot a level par back 9! These days, it'd be more like 9 over per hole!!
Always enjoyed my visits there.....d'you ever get over to Enville? or Swindon?

Tony.....if we meet up to try the MD EQL I'll bring a Callaway 3 wood (unused now) with me as well!! I would have called, but I've been away.....odd that considering there was a forum match at Homer's :)

I prefer the back 9 myself aswell.

Can't say i've been to the two courses you mentioned. Like i said in a previous post,i haven't been in the area that long so have only played a handfull of courses.

If you've played Worfield i imagine you've also played Chesterton Valley just up the road from it?

No.....have not tried Chesterton yet.....heard "mixed" reviews, but has good drainage so I hear!!
You should try Swindon sometime

quite how Swindon golf club is near Dudley/Wolverhampton is confusing!!!

Enville is great but getting too expensive these days.

If you want to visit courses up in the north of the county, let me know!! Shrewsbury, Arscott, Oswestry etc.

You should give Chesterton a go,very hilly as you can imagine with it being in that area. Having to cross a country road to play 3 holes is quite unique, too.

I had a nightmare both times i played there but still enjoyed it.
