Just wanted to introduce myself, located in cambridgeshire and play off 16.
My brother-in-law (Minty18) has been raving about the forum so had to come and see what it is all about, some great discussions going on!

Many Thanks for all the welcomes, no TonyN, I don't have any slazenger clubs, name comes from the fact that I slash at the ball a bit but if I called myself slashnick then that could have been misconstrued as an instruction. Driver is a Ram FX9, won it in a competition from a rival mag last year (which I no longer buy!!) and it seems to work for me. Mind you, tried one of the new Cobra drivers a few weeks ago and was miles better (about 30 yards longer and about 80% of fairways hit as opposed to 50%) but can't really justify spending £250.
Hi Eagle hunter, I do play at the same course as Minty, problem is he has started beating me a bit too regularly now but I have to give him 9 shots every round!!

The handicap system has worked in golf for many a year Slaz so i put it down to your inability to play to your handicap. Plus my handicap will tumble soon so i might be giving you shots.
