I've never played Beauchief but my dad says its a good course.

courses I've played so far :

Stocksbridge
hillsborough
Dewsbury
Glossop
Concord Park
Filey
Birley wood

This year I'm hoping to play some of these :

Crossland heath - nearl huddersfield
Hallamshire
Willow valley
Silkstone
Woodhall spa
Ganton
Wortley

Concord Park is an ok course i have played there myself a few times but at this time of year it is pretty water logged and not overly loved. All i have played so far since my return to the game is Concord Park and Beauchief. Beauchief is a well maintained course considering it is a "municiple" a few members from Abbeydale actually use it and have said it is better than their own course lol

As a goalkeeper I suffered mallet finger once. Wedding ring finger...as I was right-handed I just cut the finger of the glove and carried on and played with the support. Didn't impact my swing...I was still rubbish lol
