New Stone Roses Single

Invention and Imagination! You've got to be joking, It's the same moribund dross they've been churning out for years.

If your into it/them then Fair enough, but it's certainly nothing new.

LOl.

I have never gotten why radio head became popular TBH... it is sheer hite.

and this is no different.

Stone Roses, were ok but that was some time ago, this is whats called phoning it in.

sort of affirms Sick boys assessment of when you lose it in Train spotting.

So right on one point, so wrong on another ;)

Definitely sounds like the seahorses which isn't a good thing I am guessing that squires will have written it, it's a first single let's just hope the next one is better.

The second one is out and that is what the last few posts have been about. And it is also rubbish. IMHO. If the last 2 singles has been on the 1st album they would have had as successful career as The Paris Angels did. But anyone can make their own mind up. But don't say I didn't warn you.

The second one sounds like Ian Brown's solo stuff it wouldn't be to bad if the chorus wasn't so weak.

The Seahorses used to be a poor mans Stone Roses tribute band. The Stone Roses now seem to be a poor mans Seahorses tribute band.

Do It Yourself was a boss album, shame they never did anything else.

Beautiful thing has grown on me. Digging out my bucket hat and stopping by the offi' for a bottle of T'Bird on the way home.

I've just dug out the old bucket hat and band T Shirt ready for tonight's gig.. Can't bloody wait.. First time I've watched the Roses since Spike Island, and my memory of that is patchy at best :D

Nice one :D

All the reports are that the gig's are excellent, dead envious ;) Tough to live up to Spike Island... WOW!!!

I wasn't lucky enough to be near a speaker. In fact, the sound was so poor that the only way I knew which song they were playing was by listening to the crowd. :D

Last nights gig was excellent. A really tight set that almost mirrored the Blackpool gig that's floating about on YouTube. Would go again tonight if I could afford it.

Was also lucky enough to get bumped up into the VIP area due to my mates broken foot. We ended up sat next to the guys from The Coral after their set. 3rd time I've seen them and each time they've been brilliant.

Went on craigys tickets on wed. Didnt know the coral where on :( we heard public enemy outside, not really my thing. Thought the roses where excellent, first time id seen them.

Our seats where one row away from the corporate boxes. Managed to get an upgraded seat, and sweet talk the good folks in there to get our ale for us, saving on the queing. The lager was nasty, £5 a pint as well :( got soaked on the way out...

Great night out

Danny.... You've either set the temp' too high on your washing machine or your heads grown a fair bit in the last 20 years.
:D
Lol. I anticipated that every middle aged man in Mancunia was going to be wearing the classic paint splattered bucket hat, so I decided to lead rather than follow and wore my slightly snugger Fat Face beach hat instead........... And my heads grown......... ;)
