New PB. Just wanted to share my joy.

Had 18 today with a mate. Only off the yellows but knocked 3 off my PB and finished with a 80. 43 out nothing to shout about but the 1 over 37 back I was very happy with. And that would have been better if I didn't take a 7 on a par 5 that I was through the back of in 2. Finished 3,3,3 (par, birdie, birdie) to rescue though.

I know its not a medal round but really chuffed. I usually play the front 9 better and best on that is 39 so if I could only put the two together it will be a great day.

Great shooting. I always enjoy a surprisingly good back 9 (although a good 18 would be better). I imagine you would have laughed off anyone saying you could still shoot 80 after a 43 front 9 - heck, I've failed to shoot 90 after a 43 front 9. Brilliant finish.

Thanks everyone. Yeah the back 9 is what I am really happy with. Playing again this afternoon, but on a course I haven't played before so hoping to take some of the form with me. I'm starting to make better decisions off the tee which is helping me I think.
