Evening gents,

Have been around for a couple of weeks, lurking to see the form.

The thread on tonight's Panorama spurred me into typing my first post, apologies for the lack of introduction beforehand.

I have been playing for about 6 years after being introduced to the game overseas, never had a hcp better than 28 until recently joining my new club where on presenting my three cards they gave me 21 which has risen to 21.2 in the two subsequent comps I played.

Hope to contribute positively to the forum, thanks for having me.

Cheers

Greetings Doc...

Have you bought biscuits?
all newbies have to bring biscuits........ :D

Well, as it happens,

Jaffa cakes but the chocolate was melting so I had to eat them quick...

Thanks for the welcome :)

Welcome Doc. If it's biscuits then on this forum it has to be Hob-Knobs. (No, I didn't spell it wrong.)

Hi Doc.

Always good to have some North West support on here.

We nearly had a team going until TonyN changed career.

Enjoy.

Welcome mate...and yes, I agree with almost everything you said about the Panorama documentary.

Just back from quick sniffler at the pub so it's 'Superbrands' - which I would recommend to anyone. Last weeks dispelled the the myth I had about Adidas being named after the creators dog! ( for anyone that missed it it's actually the first name of the creator and the first syllable of his surname- his estranged brother created Puma)

Living in central London I'm currently LMAO at alll the muppets round here wearing 'Superdry' like it's some exclusive Japanese import when it was dreamed up by a couple of English blokes on an industrial estate in the midlands.

Anyway, I digress- welcome

Welcome along Doc. Pretty new round here myself.
Have found everyone very welcoming and the info very, very useful.

Hello doc, nice home club! My parents in law live nearby so maybe in touch for a game if that ok. Shame about the jaffa cakes though.......

Welcome to the forum Doc. Shame about those Jaffa Cakes though but technically they are not a biscuit. They are as the title suggests a sponge cake ;)

Crack open some Ginger Nuts, Fruit Shortcakes or Jammie Dodgers and we'll forget all about it :D

Hi Doc,

They call me Doc because I specialise in diagnosing car problems that can't normally be diagnosed. The name kind of stuck.

Again, thanks for the welcomes.

Played the medal today,
44 out, with a 7 on a par 3
54 in with a 10 on Si1 and another couple of 7's

If only...

Cheers :)
