can somebody please give me and i'm sure many others out there a bit of advice on which is a good all rounder i have been using top flites for 2 reasons they were very cheap(£5 per doz new) and i have a tendency to slice them out of bounds but after improving slightly and using an odd find on the course i have noticed a difference around the greens etc but which ones to buy i dont have lots of cash for trial and error and every advert tells you theres is the best. i am tempted with wilson staff dx2 or dx3 as they reasonably priced, and the new nike vapour speed please can anybody help :D

I'd go for the Wilsons also but the Srixon soft feel is a very good ball also at a good price. Personally I use the Wilson Dx2.

Welcome.

If you really have a problem loosing balls out of bounds (and generally loosing them), I'd recommend sticking with any old ball (if it bothers you, the cost) I've played some great rounds with cheap and cheerful new balls.

Palmer Bay Hill ti
Top Flite
Dunlop 65s (new ones)
Wilson Ultra

I even played a championship links course once with Donnay Titanium. I thought I'd pulled a Titleist out of my bag, until I came to putt on the first green. As I parred it, I kept playing with that ball, all the way round.
I was however landing the ball 20 yards short of every green anyway that day!!
