I posted on here last week about my dilemma whether it not to buy the 46.5" Taylormade Superfast Burner 2.0 driver, mainly due to the monster shaft length.

I'm happy to let you know that I took the plunge and invested in it.
Since then, I have played 2 rounds at my club with my first round wash score being an 84 (net 68) lowering my HC from 15.6 -> 14.4.
Delighted. Hit the driver straight all day. I was just hoping that it wasn't a fluke.

Went out again today and bettered that score by shooting an 82. (I have never been below 85 before)

Anyway, I just wanted to come here to boast as I'm delighted. :) :D

Jamie.

I have just purchased the Superfast 2.0 TP 3-wood and I absolutely love it. It is that good and goes that far that I am hitting it on a lot of holes that I normally use a driver on as this things hits it long and straight....:whoo:

well done mate always nice to buy a new shiny that you fall in love with...

I hit 6 out of 6 fairways on the back nine on Monday. Never done that before. I didn't feel I hit it great but strangely it was going further than normal. Maybe it was just drying out or maybe I was just getting into a better impact position from my last lesson. RBZ's might be waiting

I had the same thing with my new driver shaft, once fitted in Feb I had a summer of fine driving. I kept the old head which was good but the stock shaft was so appalling that when I changed i went from hitting 4 fairways a round to missing 4! The club champion called me the most boring driver at the club, not massively long but never anything worse than the first cut either!

Great news. Well done.

Honeymoon period is normally about 3 weeks/5 rounds.
I'll be waiting as I'm having success with my new driver and shot a 90 which I haven't done since last year. Just got to get all bats working at the same time and I'll be one happy fella

Well done anyway fella for going under 85, I can only imagine going that low

great scores! when i got my new driver i had to wait five or six rounds before i could get one anywhere near the fairway! Hope i have your experience soon as am thinking of changing my driver!:whoo:
