I've been struggling these last few months and changing the grip to much stronger (a quiros tip I took too literally) which feels better if I was cutting down a tree but the nett result is I'm shanking (even 3 irons), thinning, duffing, pulling and push slicing (occasional good shots in-between) but nothing feels solid anymore............If your swing is basically sound I think you can attribute a lot of faults to a poor grip, as Faldo once said "Good golf starts with a good grip"
