Neil Tappin is at the Scottish Open this week. He's been out and about at Castle Stuart where many of you enjoyed last year's golf day. Maybe some of these pictures will bring back some fond memories...

I've not looked forward to watching a tournament so much in years. I think the setting will blow people away. Should be great for the area.

15 of us will be watching it in the pub on Sunday with great interest, having only played it last month. Nobody will beat my pal Gav's (net) albatross on the 6th, he's pretty sure.

Any predictions for a winning score? I reckon it will be low. -20 or better.

It breezy today.

Its an east wind as well at the moment which for this time of the year tends to keep the rain off, but makes some of the courses that are des for a west wind tricky.

We had one of our big comps at the weekend at Nairn down the road on Saturday and it was reduction only and the sss off the blue tee's is 75 Par 71.
