What effect does having a grip with hands that are fighting each other have??

Strong left hand grip AND weak right hand grip.

I wouldn't think it'd cause much issues, but after trying it.... not so comfortable to grip the club.
Alot of tour pros run with a strong right hand grip and neutral/weak left hand, as i've said before IMO there is no 'true' neutral grip positions. As long as a grip doesn't cause swing issues use what works.

Strong left and weak right leads to loads of problems because the left forearm already has some rotation but the right forearm doesn't.

Hooks and a lot of blocks with the driver possibly as the hands get 'confused' thru impact...you can't release the left arm rotation because your right arm is 'already' rolled. If your right hand doesn't get back to that 'weak' position at impact the face will be wide open..... and that will then start to mess with your path... nightmare!!

As an aside - stronger left and NEUTRAL right is probably the grip you'll see most on Tour.
