I wasn't aware it dropped it, but last year the level of cover changed..

I was checking to find out what cover I have after my ops, cant find any policy details.
Is it still £13 a month to get the nationwide cover ?
Might look at other policies and see if it still stacks up.

Cover for travel? Should cover everything that u didn't have before u signed up for it

It hasn't changed except for 'post-Covid' cover

I still have mine from my standard Nationwide accounts, although they did send me a message saying Covid cover wasn't included.

eg If you booked flights/hotels etc after the pandemic was 'announced' you would not be covered for cancellations

I've emailed Nationwide asking them for clarification on my cover following my recent medical history.

According to their recent info, you are covered for "covid cancellation" if the FCO are advising against travel - provided they weren't advising against travel at the time you booked. Eg bookings made after they lifted the blanket travel restriction (early July?) are covered now that they've re-imposed the advice against travel to Spain/ France etc
