My Swing - Brookesy

Hi all i am going to be posting two videos, this first is me with a driver.

On this video i pulled the ball left, i have been doing this now and then with my driver and 3 wood, i was wondering if anyone could tell me the problem that is causing this with my swing? I also slice the ball now and then but dont know whether anyone could help me with that either?

I am no expert and would recommend you see a Pro. However, from looking at the vid you look to be quite upright in your stance and appear to be quite close to the ball. This is making your swing quite steep, which is fine for short-mid irons, but not for Driver and woods. The steep swing usually goes from out to in, meaning you hit across the ball. Depending on the club face this will either lead to a pull (club face closed) or a slice (club face open).

Like I said, see a Pro for a proper swing diagnosis, but in the mean time try standing a bit further away from the ball, and feel like you are swinging the club more around your body.

Thanks golf bug, i do slice and pull the ball randomly from now and then and struggle to hit my long irons and woods from time to time..

I have a few lessons booked next week and hopefully will be going to have a go at custom fitting
