My patchy game!

Getting sick of my patchy game so decided to start from scratch. Booked a block of lessons starting on the green and working back to the tee. Maybe I'll start seeing cuts later this year instead of the now obligatory 0.1 back.

Can I ask why you intend to start with putting rather than irons?

I think putting is the most important part of my game, its easy to get to the green. But you can easily take 3-4 putts. At the start of my round, i aways practise my putting. You can pickup the speed of the greens quicker if you practise first.

It's called reverse chaining
putting first, followed by chipping, pitching, bunkers, fairway shots and tee shots

This best example I can think of is the other day. I went out for 9 holes. Hit three Greens in regulation. Got par, bogey, double bogey. Had a total of 4 three putts for the nine holes.
