Mrs/Miss Dr Who

Are you saying its improved since PD was the Doctor??

Yes as it was rebooted by Russel T Davies and then taken over by Stephen Moffat, both of whom are excellent writers. The brought it kicking and screaming into the 21st century and made the program about a lot more than monsters in dodgy outfits. They also made it one the the most LGBT friendly programs on mainstream TV which I appreciate may upset some, but kind of made it more relevant to me. Yes it did get a bit too caught up in backstory and Dr Who mythology at times, but it became much more of a series about characters and story arcs. Which to me is ultimately more fulfilling as there are only so many times the Dr can defeat the Darleks.

Will be good to see the new Dr come up against a bad Missy (a recent incarnation of The Master) - because is she indeed 'dead' having been shot by a 'past' Master - or maybe not...

SILH, with time travel you can be dead, alive, all of these things. He / she may be dead from that point in time but he / she can go back in time all they like up to that moment, over and over again. All very confusing.

I much prefer Missy to the Master, cracking role.

The Borg...

They were awesome in the big-screen First Contact but were over-used during Voyager. If they were so damn clever and had warp conduits taking them over the galaxy, how come they had never used them to send a couple of cubes down to wipe out Earth? The episode in Enterprise set 100+ years earlier with them was really clever though.

Yup - Missy was mighty creepy and bad bad. Get Dr and Mistress up against each other please.
