Mr, Mrs, Ms, MX

If you think this is confusing, imagine you were Malcolm X. You could be MX MX.
Man becomes Roman numeral!

Don't you oppress me. I want my right to have babies. Even though I haven't got a womb which is no-one's fault, not even the Romans.

Should females drop the Mrs and simply become an all encompassing Ms?

I’d love to hear you suggest that to my Mum😆 She’d give you a right mouthful.

As a married Woman she is a Mrs, no matter how that makes feminists or any other group feel. To her suggesting otherwise is offensive!

I did add that to be fair to myself 😁. To many women Ms is a prissy title. Not in my eyes I should add but to an older generation it is, as your mother would attest.

Yesterday I had to ask a new member of staff if she was Mrs, Miss, Ms or anything else so I could put her on the payroll run I was doing - "I dont give a stuff what you put" she helpfully replied

I kinda get her point, why do you need to know those things to pay them? I think with GDPR coming in we could easily save a load of hassle by dropping this one box tick.

mx? Its a record type.. used for specifying the mail server that accepts email for your domain.....

Would it be because they would need to know the exact name on her bank account to be able to pay money in? Could there be problems if they were trying to pay a Ms XXX when the account was in the name of Mrs XXX?

I've been called a wide range of names and inaccurate titles over the years: mostly in jest but some not so.

The day I start to take such stuff seriously is the day when I know I've lost the plot
