Thanks for that, I'm fully aware of the differences between sex and gender roles but that is not what the OP is referring to.
And as murph says, why do you need anything more than a surname and initial to book a football ticket?
You said you agreed with D4S, who was saying that all that mattered was whether you are male or female and this should determine your title (at least that's how I read it). But male v female is a biological distinction and isn't necessarily relevant to whether your title is Mr, Mrs, Ms or Mx, which is determined by gender (which are more often than not aligned, but don't have to be).
So apologies for not being able to spot your deep understanding of the subject based on your posts.
I agree that you don't need more than a surname and initial to book a ticket, but on the other hand, why does it matter what someone's title is? Why shouldn't someone be able to choose their title based on what they consider to be their gender? Personally, I don't think it's necessary to do away with titles altogether. It isn't difficult to add an option (Mx) that allows someone not to fall into a category that is clearly one gender or the other, all other bases are covered already, are they not?
