Hi all. Trying to take out excessive movement at the connectors where the shaft folds (and cable is visible) on my 2013 S1 The covers (?) have no real hex or similar profile. There are 2 each side on shaft above hinge and 2 each side below. I can make them turn but they do nothing. Are any adjusters under them? If so how do these covers come off ? TIA

They look like rivets and can’t be ajusted really.

If they are rivets they can be hammered to make them a tighter fit but you will need to have something solid on the other side of the rivet to hit onto
A tricky job where you could hammer your thumb or finger.
Be careful you don’t damage the plastic this needs some movement to work properly .
Two person job imo, just don’t let anyone hammer near your fingers do it yourself 😳

If there is movement, it’s probably because the holes where the fasteners pass through have become elongated due to movement/working of the fasteners.

Thanks both. It makes sense now having found a video of replacing similar part on a Powerbug. I'll try the two person hammer approach, thanks, and see how it goes. Would like to get rid of the excessive rotational movement when the bag is in place, if I can.

Free rotating heads indeed looks like holes have enlarged. Based on that the rivets probably won't tighten but I'll try it.

Update. Decided against hammers ! Drilled out the head of one rivet, poked rivet shaft through. Found bolt long enough and good diameter fit for existing shaft hole without need to drill out holes. Repeated on other side of fitting. Fitted bolt & nut, cut off excess bolt . This one bolt has removed all the excess movement in that half of the fitting. Happy that I can keep the old trolley going a little longer. Thanks to all, especially those who offered suggestions and useful comments!

I would have done the same, excpet I would have added a washer at each end and put lok-tight for the nut :)
