Motocaddy M3Pro Motor replacement

I have purchased a replacement motor and watched the video.
Four screws removed and electric connector disconnected.
So far so good
The video then shows a spanner being used to undo a nut.
I do not have such a nut.
Can anyone, please tell me how to proceed?

Having watched a video on that (out of curiousity) I would say the bolt head is something to do with the axle/gearbox looking at where he is using the spanner. It looks too long to be able to fall out, so I would suggest have a closer look
