Hey guys,
Which is the most forgiving set of mizuno MP irons? I am making a shortlist of clubs to try and i am going to ask my pro if he has any but here at my course there is a tiny range of clubs! :(
So which is the most forgiving MP iron?

In my opinion if your handicap is 27 and your target 22 then MP's are not likely to help you get there. You need to be a decent ball striker to get any consistency from MP's.
MX's on the other hand should help. But the irons you have will work for you for a while longer.
Get your handicap below 20 and then look at some MX300's or similar. Forgiving club but with the look of a players iron.

Don't write off the MX300 though.

I seem to recall you having another thread along these lines a week or two ago.

Try the 300's, you may be surprised. They're more consistent than the 52's in distence on slight mishits and the feel really good. They'll also be more forgiving when you have a bad day.

There are a few on here that have gone down the blade club route too early and have regretted the decision. Conversely there are also some that are (according to manufactures claims) using clubs that are aimed at better players. Me being one of them.

I was tempted by the 52's, but the little extra forgiveness of the 300's won through. There's not much between them in dimension terms.

You get MPs if you want, clubs of that class force you to improve and there is a hell of a lot of guff talked about different clubs but take my word for it - the ball has no idea what you hit it with.

MP 68

I forgive them every time I hit a bad shot because they are so beautiful.

There is no way you can stay angry at them, and the making up afterwards is great.
