It's poll time again, and first up a slightly hypothetical one as I think it's pretty unlikely to ever happen for various reasons whether course length, location infrastructure etc... but which of these great links courses would you most like to see as an Open venue one day (excludes any that have already hosted it even in the dim and distant past)?

Other poll to follow in a moment on your favourite Augusta back 9 hole...

RCD would make a stunning venue. I'd also love to see a composite course at Saunton as you could pick 18 stunning holes out of the 36.

Machrihanish or Western Gailes.

Sadly not on the options list so went for Royal Dornoch.

I voted for Royal Porthcawl as it seems only fair that Wales should play hosts occasionally.

If you add one you have to drop one. I would go for RSG or Turnberry mainly due to location both are generally poorly attended.

wouldn't mind seeing just a European tour event and Burnham and Berrow, being a member and all

not sure why it hasn't hosted any, i guess there are good reasons

Yeah, I Agree. Ive played Burnham & Berrow many times over the years and have had great Fun watching Adam out of the shop look for his ball!!! :D. I'm guessing Burnham hasn't held it for Logistical reasons (parking, hotels and so forth) and it is the same for Saunton.

Such a shame really.
