Grand Slam Winner
I keep hearing an annoying ms advert at the moment, which ends with some thing like:
99% of people would save money using ms. Sample based on 40% of consumers.
So is this actually 39.6% of every one, or is it 99% of every one extrapolated from the 99% of the 40% sample?
How old do you have to be to be considered a consumer? Are we talking a 40% sample of people likely to buy their products? 40% of people using their web site (isn't the other 60% more relevant?). A consumer of what? Oranges?
Stats? Love them. Who came up with this tosh, and can they please stop?
