Is there any way of finding out what mobile phones are within a clearly defined area?

Ooops sorry robster.....well I had a thought. most people have a mobile phone and carry it everywhere. If it were possible to define the area of a golf course and also search for all mobiles within that area you could see if anyone was out there that wasn't a member.

I would of thought there is technology that could tell you, but whether certain Government agencies want to let you borrow it I doubt it
You would also need every member to have given their mobile number to the club to use for policing.

Hmm yes I'd thought of this. I'm just trying to think of a cheap way of policing who is on a golf course that is not supposed to be there.

Well you'll have to think again as I don't believe this is feasible, or if it was almost certainly not legal.

We have on occasions a course Marshall, he is an ex captain who I’m gets a reduction in his fees for doing the job.
