I currently play with mizuno mx200 irons I like them but they are looking a bit old. Would an upgrade to mizuno JPX 825 pro be a good one and worthwhile?I'm a big mizuno fan so don't really want to move away from mizuno

has anything changed since your last thread on this? werent you going to discuss with your pro and compare clubs on a monitor? not sure what anyone on a forum can offer more than that!

so you have a set of irons that you yourself say are working, your pro has told you to stick with them and you are looking for us to tell you to change them :p Yeah go for it, go get some new shinies

I love the look of the MX 200 with the badge taken of the Back.

Not very helpful I know but Ive wanted to get this of my chest for some time now and I felt this was a good opportunity :smirk:

Get some metal polish and give them a good work over then regrip them and your eye might like them more again.

To directly answer your question, yes, JPX 825 Pro are a comparable iron to MX 200 head size wise. I loved mine.

^^Those are lovely!

OP - find a mizuno performance centre near you, I have one in my local American golf. Get them to set up a few mizunos with different shafts etc and see what you think. Can't hurt to try. If you want to spend money on something shiny, is there any of your other clubs that may benefit from a change like a wedge?

The 850s or the EZ Forged would both be worth trying. Check the Mizuno Web site to see if there are any demo days near you.

Wow they look great did you do them yourself

No, I don't even own a set :D
Although I have considered a paint job on my MP53s

The photo is off a website - Golf Alchemy.
They first caught my eye on there and initially I didn't realise they were MX200s.
Ive seen a few examples since with the badge removed and I just think they're a real Classy looking set of irons with plenty of forgiveness which Is usually quite rare.
