Where are you based? Mizuno have a main fitting centre at Bearwood Lakes near to Wokingham if you are anywhere close to that.

I have been to Birkdale it’s very good .
Service is excellent and if you are going to pay rrp it’s a nice place.
Tour x golf in Wigan is better imo much more choice .

Tour X golf is pretty much the best option. However, it's not free. Nick is one of the best club fitters in the country and will spend hours fitting you for your clubs. He does charge for the privilege though.
It's very much worth it in my opinion, but others may think not.

Yes but as stated he does charge for it.
Prices on the website .
Mizuno only have a certain amount of shafts Nick has them all .
Mizuno will give you the best fit they have ?
But there could be a better one in the market.
Give him a bell and tell him what you want he will sort you out I’m sure.

I’ve emailed them both mizuno charge 50 quid tour x 80 both said take about a hour so no difference there really considering how much I will spend once I’ve bought the irons 👍
I do find that mizuno only have certain shafts a bit strange u would think they would have them all
Thanks for your advice

Nick will say an hour, in reality you will spend much longer there! It’s pure golf porn that place! Highly recommend their service!

Sounds like a day well spent chap. Can I ask did you just hit 7 irons in those yeah? Not been for an iron fitting so not sure what’s involved. Had a blast off the 919s all right, didn’t get on with the forged but the tours were fab. Not hit any of the MP18s. I’d be in trouble there I think! What’s about shafts what did you end up with? Glad it went well

Mainly just 7 irons yeah I hit
MP18-SC
Jpx forged and tour
Taylor made
Srixon
The latter 2 I have no real interest in the names so I quickly dismissed them
One club I did like was the Callaways which I do like Callaway gear but that’s going against my original plan of mizuno’s only and nick said there is some very good new Callaways coming out next week 🙈
My best performing iron was my first choice before I went there and that was the mp 18 sc which were very nice to hit lovely feel and to be fair I was a bit worried that they would be hard to hit but the were sound and exactly the same size from heel to toe as my Ap2s to the eye anyway but with nick not pushing any sales on me and told me go home and think about it before I commit
I also hit the fli hi 4 iron which was very good so will through one or 2 in there on my longer irons also hit mp blades but will not go below 9 iron with them but might just have the PW blade
But now I have another itch of trying the new Callaways in a sort of play off with the sc’s 😂🙈🙈

That is a nice dilemma to have! Sounds like the itch has become a full blown head to toe rash 😀
