I was moving a car around the forecourt when I realised what the time was so just sat there for a minute.
Checking inside at work, nobody had remembered what the time was so the minutes silence wasn't observed.
Boys came home from Army Cadets last night, and one of them (Nick) has been selected to lay the wreath at Sundays remembrance parade. Really proud and will be there to pay our respects.

Observed it on the train this year as I was en route to a meeting but know our office had a 2 minutes silence

I totally forgot which I'm really annoyed at myself about.
Also, I was out training, which didn't help. If I was in the office I would have more likely remembered and observed it.

Totally and utterly enraged by the lowlife scum who burnt the poppy in London during the 11th hour yesterday. And they wonder why race relations get put back lightyears!
And what does our media do? Just stand and watch and film the whole charade.
I'm sorry but the scum totally disrespected the memory of the fallen from 2 world wars and subsequent conflicts. And done in THIS country! Unbeleivable!
