Quick qustion with regards to being a member of 2 clubs which I know some of you are. Can you play in both club championships and all of the comps in both clubs etc ??
Hi jammydodger
I'm a country member at 2 places and yes I can play in any competition at either club. Guess a bit will depend on what sort of membership category you have an on the individual club
Yes you can, but you can only have one club that holds your handicap. You can choose which club holds it, and you will be marked AWAY at the other club.
I know someone who is a member of his home club in Edinburgh but is a country member at one in the East Neuk of Fife and also at Blairgowrie. Don't think he's ever at home for a full weekend....lucky man
Yeh, play in that many comps I dont know what I'm doing at times. With match play and medal rounds, two clubs can be a strain to keep up with it all......Great fun though.
Just remember to return your cards to your home club and all is well.
I love having my "wee bolt hole", quick trip over the waater 10 minute walk and I'm on the first tee. 18 holes, a pint and a bite then back on the ferry and up the road before the wife is home from work.
