Just back from Aztecs place - a thoroughly enjoyable day out it was too.
Nice clubhouse, a mean Southern Fried Chicken Burger as well.
Practice putting green not dissimilar to the North face of the Eiger - not sure we had that many putts with quite that slope...
Best leave the golf bit out - having said that Jon had a couple of very solid pars( there is a Golfer in there kicking and screaming to get out!) and I picked up a birdie on a 141 yard par 3 which, absurdly, I got a shot on! Hey that'll be 2 for 4 then!! Neither of us played particularly well but I'm going to blame the pace of play for that.
There was a Girl's Competition going on (someone said they took 6 hours at the last one) followed by a plethora of Four-balls, then us. So there was nowhere to go and it was difficult to get into a rhythm, waiting on each shot for the entire round.
Still, the Sun shined, the Company was top notch and a good day was had.

Big thanks to Aztec for the invite.
Keep at it Jon - there's promise in that swing..

Absolutely cracking day, golf aside!

Was a pleasure to host you Ian, hope you enjoyed it.

I am also blaming the terrible golf on the county girls match...must have been the reason

After a weekend of 400 miles of travel, a wedding, an engagement party and golf yesterday, I can barely move and keep my eyes open today!

Cheers again for a great day mate, you're welcome any time.

Wasn't this for your third card? Did you get your handicap prediction right?

Unfortunately not (well, maybe fortunately since I hacked around in 102 :(

Should be posting my 3rd and final next weekend (providing we get the bathrooms tiled on Friday and Saturday!

Never mind mate, I'm sure you'll shoot a better score at the weekend. I'm playing for my third card on Friday so should know what I'll be playing off for the coming season come the afternoon.
