Maturing...

Funnily enough.........................:mad: ..........there are quite a lot of people who putt with more weight on the left foot, I wouldn't say it's common but apparently it can help. There's a few on Tour who do it but can't think of names right now. That said, If you're shooting 73 I reckon your putting is spot on. Chances are you're just not as close with your approaches as you'd like to be.. or your chips aren't quite dead. Winter footprinted greens don't help neither.
You're probably right, just had a lot of near misses with putts and thinking what might have been!!

My right elbow was not folding properly resulting in a push fade, managed to sort it half way through and started drawing the ball again. I have a lesson on tuesday so now I will be asking about it to try and make the draw a habbit rather than a gamble.

+6 front nine. level back 9. equalled my personal best. must have shot 6 over 5 times now. missed a tiddler birdie putt at last hole par 5. rushed it!

yeah things are really clicking for me atm. i do fancy the challenge of getting to single figs this summer. starting to hit hybrid off tee now for some dangerous holes. will defs use it at tighter courses than my home course.

Sad times fella. Sad times. :( Look at this way I think it is category one running scared from your golf :) #spittingdistance (though not literally it's a disgusting habit)

That's what makes it even worse! The last time I played I had seven birdies and 39 points!

I reckon the next time I play I'll have 7 points and 39 putts........

glad things are going the right way for you :) I've ditched my hybrid and put the 3 iron back in for accuracy on those tight driving holes. Surely should be the other way round??? But I just love hitting iron shots

Some good shooting about. I guess at the end of the day its about realistic goals and playing with your limitations. That has to be mature golf. No point trying totake on long 430+ par 4's if you know you'll make it once out of twenty and that fifteen of those attempts will leave you in the poo. Play within and use your shots.

dropped my 3 wood. got my new hybrid miz jpx800 . beaut club! threw in my da's old regal oversize sand wedge. great club for round the greens. had to lovely shots with it today. nearly holed for a birdie on a par 3. put it to three feet with 3rd shot to par 5 last. missed putt :o
