Masters - Likes and Dislikes!

LIKES; Just looking at the course, it's greenness after a dismal grey long winter, the flowers in bloom,the stunning white sand bunkers against the deep green of the ponds and greens.
DISLIKES; Knowing I will never get to play there.

Likes - A good weekends viewing of the event.

Dislikes - It heralds the start of the golf season and gets all those who haven't played since two weeks after the last Masters back out on to the golf courses

Don't worry though, they'll be gone in a couple of weeks

Likes - watching the par 3 comp on the BBC red button on Wednesday. Almost had a tear in my eye when Player had a hole in one last year.

What a way to get a par that was!!

I too like the par 3 comp on the tele, just the relaxed attitude of it. I remember recently (Faldo?) from a foot out putting a putt intentionally ten foot past and watching it roll back into the hole!!!

Dislike - Normally I would say time difference, but as I am not working next week that won't be an issue this year

DISLIKES - The constant moaning of the other half with regards to the tele! Classic quotes i can guarentee i will hear include

"That was easy - Even i could get that"

"Why doesnt he carry his own bag"

"Has that golf thingy finished" (Thursday night in bed)

"Who's he?" - A classic everytime some player other than Tiger is playing a shot

"Are England playing?"

Love all the golf as i havnt got sky so im just glad ive got something to watch.Dont like the late nights as need to be up early in morning,however understand cant have it both ways.
