Marriage Proposals

Christmas Day.

Had her mum pop the ring (that I wrapped) in her stocking that she would open first thing in the morning (with only me and her in the room)...didn't really formally ask, but there's a wedding 7 weeks tomorrow, and I'm listed as the Groom, so I think she said yes! :D

No big public proposal as HID hates being the centre of attention (wedding day should be interesting then!)...and Christmas is her favourite day of the year, so it seemed apt.
 
My Mrs insists I never proposed to her and I know that she never asked me to marry her....but somehow we got married and here we are 42 years later.

She did make me splutter in my coffee the other night.
I was watching telly and she was on the 'pooter when she quietly says.
You know we have a couple of free days on this years England trip.

Well how do you fancy going on a pub crawl [she is TT]

Ehhhhh.

She was looking at an old relatives will. He owned Adams brewery in Oakham [later to become Ruddles] and with that he also owned 14 pubs. She wants to visit them all!!

What could I say! [except you are driving]
