Markers...

I use a magnetic on on my Taylormade pitch mark repair tool.

Makes it easy to find in my pocket in amongst the tee's and scoring pencils etc.

An Odyssey poker chip. It's pretty big and can get on your opponents nerves when they have to keep asking you to move it!!

As an aside, what are the most unusual things you have used as markers over the years....for me its been...

A ring pull.
A pitch mark repair tool
A Tee
A Trouser waist clip when it came off.
A Piece of chewing gum once.
A Wallet.
And once I used the putter itself so I could clean the ball before putting.

A friend of mine used a condom in its packet once, just to try and annoy people.....it worked. :D

a pitch mark tool and a tee are hardly unusual but I did see one guy take his shoe off! what an ijit!

Same here - I have a poker chip from The Venetian in Vegas - it's big so I can't lose it and it does seem to get on peoples nerves !

I think I would just annoy you back by questioning how accurate your ball replacement is??? (larger the surface area or arc of marker, more chance for error. :D :D

I have an odyssey chip too from when I got my 2ball (they also come free if you order a replacement odyssey putter cover and they do a number of decent designs now too) and used it for a while as it was a bit of fun with my regular partners. The problem was it was too big and made getting tees or pitchmar repairers out a nightmare

Interesting point actually - is there any kind of ruling regarding the size / dimensions of said ball markers on the green?

Actually no one seems to use the clips attachted on golf gloves. So why do they keep producing gloves with those f****** clips. I am alergic to nickel and my hand always inflames and I am not the only one with this problem. So I have to chose my golf gloves carefully from manufacturers that don't put clips on it i.e. Titeleist, Nike, Srixon and Taylor Made.

I use the FJ GTX one, well its magnetic and its great and also its far better than fumbling around in ones pocket.
