Makes you blimmin proud

The thing that strikes me about this story is the references to him 'escaping'!! Poor guy, makes him sound like a prisoner. I think a lot of these so-called 'care' homes have a lot to answer for :(
 
Remember the story last year and thought what a great guy. Sad news but glad he got to make the trip! Hope he found the peace he wanted

Surprised the rum old blighter never had a coronary when he was over there..........judging by the amount of young ladies fighing each other to get their photo taken with him

A generation we will never see the like of again. Brought the biggest smile to my face when news of his "escape" broke last year, unbelievable spirit.

I actually think it's nice, just sad she had to go through the pain & suffering of losing him. They were clearly 2 halves that made up a whole and it's no surprise that one couldn't survive without the other.

God bless them both.
