my game isn't happening at the minute ,but I'm booked in for a 4 ball tomorrow, so think i will go to the range to see if i can iron one or two things out, so i start with the 8 iron everything was going great then there was this farther & son (about 18 years old)went in the bay next to me is dad had all the talk for every shot he played & he couldn't hit the ball to target to save is life but the best thing was he started talking about doing a hook ,fade ,left to right ,right to left etc

before every shot he said what the ball was going to do & after every shot he explained why the ball didn't do what he wanted it to do ,he was trying to impress is son who by the looks of things was just starting to play golf


some people would find this very annoying being in the next bay,but i must say i had my moneys worth at the range today the entertainment was brilliant


if the man is reading this message on this forum it was the best range hour ive ever had & my shots wasn't to bad either cheers ne:

You see it a lot at ranges. I've seen a guy really berate their kid for not listening to what he was telling him and said he'd show him again. One air shot later and I was trying so hard not to let him see me peeing myself with laughter. he just got angrier at the kid who just got more and more hacked off. In the end the dad got the hum, dragged the kid off home and I nipped into the bay and got a 1/2 bucket of balls and a great laugh for free

Not had the pushy parent yet but had a grou of 4 chavs cme tot the range whilst I was there. All with one club each, all with voices turned up to 11. They went to the right and I went to the left. I couldn't see them but all I heard was thwack...ball comes rolling out of the bay, thwack another ball rolls out, thwack another ball rolls out. Don't think an went over 25 yards. It soon went quiet...

Forever seeing lads my age come in large groups laughing then hitting the roof with the ball etc. Then after they realise I can half hit the ball, the pressure gets to me that they're all staring and then the short irons come out to save face haha.
