Interesting post from donald on twitter recently, commenting that many people were surprised that he had a 90% success rate from 10ft and under this year! He then broke it down as follows:

Dont think it matters how you look at them they are pretty amazing stats!
 
That's why I like Donald. Doesn't rely on hitting it a country mile. Mr consistant on and around the greens. Just wish he would do it in a major.
 
Tiger was 182nd in putts from 3ft and in. mcllroy (surprised me) and poulter had no misses at all.

tiger missed 8 all season btw.

That's not even funny. :eek:

Every time I watched him on tour this year it seemed like he made everything he looked at...... Turns out he did :mad:
 
Doesn't count the Ryder Cup I assume. A few went begging on the first two days there. That aside these are superb and prove that it isn't always about power. Keep it in play, hit the greens and then rely on the flat stick. Such a simple game
 
It shows how good his short game is. He's quite wayward off the tee but when you've got those putting stats it doesn't really matter I suppose!
