Well my new g15's arrived today, so I'm just back from the range.

I'm in love with the 5 wood, which I think will give me an option off the tee that I didn't really have before. Driver was higher and straighter than my G10 when I calmed down and stopped trying to murder it, but the back fence was in the way (at 220) so we'll have to wait and see on the distance.

Not convinced by the hybrid, I think it will take a little getting used to as it does look and feel different. Irons felt nice, but again I don't think they are as good looking as the I range. They were however about half a club longer than my existing I5's (which i hit tonight too to compare).

Then i went on the putting green and fell in love with the redwood putter too. Holed 3 20 footers and a host of 12 footers too.

So the only thing that will get in my way this Saturday is me...and there are 12 of us out so £60 in the pot!

I have to admit - just a little twinge of jealousy still.
Good luck with the first real test with the new kit. What type of polish will be best? - I use Mr Sheen on my F-5.

I am getting withdrawal symptoms already and its only been 17 hours since the op. Gutted I'm missing a local Cally demo day tomorrow and desperate to get a go of the G15 range. I have to say I'm not a huge Ping fan especially the irons but really looking forward to trying the I15 especially and the fairway woods

My bag is fixed. As a result I have never been to a demo day, and hence haven't missed it.

Don't like Ping or Cally anyway.

Just chill. Watch some dvds (not golf), and enjoy your time out.

I'm not convinced by the look of the G15 hybrid. Much prefer the i15 one. Still if someone gave it to me I wouldn't grumble!
G15 irons do look too big but the i's look good to me. Happy with my Cally Tour's at the mo but when it come to change time I'm going to have a field day testing everything in sight!!
