Lost Ball

I hit an absolute cracker off the fairway tonight, an unbelievable shot which went passed the green and landed on the far side. As I walked up the fairway wondering where the heck that came from, practicing the same swing, and feeling rather chuffed with myself, a couple appeared from behind the green and started walking away. As they walked I noticed the chap put something in his pocket, as he did this he looked my way, then looked away straight away rather guiltily. Obviously he didnt realise that any one was playing (7:30pm) and had found my ball. Now I knew he had found it, he knew he had found it, he also knew I had seen him put something in his pocket, and look as guilty as sin. I looked for that ball for ten minutes in the hope he hadnt picked it up, all the time knowing he had. I was so enjoying myself I just thought sod it and played on but would you have gone after him?

Mark, I certainly would have questioned him about it,If he then denies it so be it,but would have pulled him up on it!!

If it was a new ball then yes but otherwise nah its a ball.

I've just set myself a personal record of not losing a ball for 3 rounds, if that then went because some bloke nicked it I would be gutted!
