Looking through the list of exhibitors, it's not coming across as a must-go. Ping and Titleist aren't bothering, which is hardly a glowing endorsement.
I might be tempted if the gear firms are previewing next year's ranges, otherwise it's not worth it to go and look at stuff I can see in any pro shop up and down the land.
i though it was a pretty good turnout with Mizuno/Callaway/Taylormade etc etc. I went to one a few years back and NO major manufacturer was there.
Internetgolfstore are there and they have some pretty good deals normally, got my Irons from them earlier this year and they could not be touched on price.
I get a couple of free tickets from work for either Fri,Sat or Sunday, at this stage I am struggling to make any of the days, if someone wants to PM me I will send you them, unless I can still convince my MD, to let me go on the Friday.
I agree Homer, there is soo much more to do and try... I followed Darren Clarke, Sophie Horn and Joe Miller (World Long Drive Champ) on the 3 hole challenge and it was really entertaining. Even the pro workshops were brilliant.. Watching David Howell and Retief Goosen on the approaches and Darren Clarke and Pablo Larrazabal on the tee shots was fab.
