Morning all,

I'm at the London Club today ducking in and out of the media centre. Will do my best to get back to you with news and quirky tales so fire away with any queries.

Day nearly got off to a very bad start when I almost ran over Robert Karlsson on my way in. Not good...

Range report:

McDowell was on there for an age, hitting it really well. Spent forever hitting low stinger shots with his irons. The wind has really picked up.

Stenson: Worked on his woods. Struck it nicely.

Oliver Wilson: Arrow straight. Mr Consistent.

John Bickerton: very smooth - but not miles long.

Richard Finch: Big high draw. He's a lot smaller than he looks!!!

Paul Waring: Long. Big high draw and lovely flight.

Ross Fisher: Hits it miles and miles and miles and miles and miles....

At first there doesn't seem a great deal but the rough is pretty unforgiving and although I have never played here it looks like it really requires accuracy off the tee. Just back from following Paul Waring for eight holes and he used his driver twice (only one par 3).

Naros
enough of the range... on to the important stuff. what were the sandwiches like in the media centre today? I had smoked salmon and cream cheese in a poppy seed bap affair. Touch light on the smoked salmon if you ask me

Unfortunately Harrisio, I still can't stomach the grub. Got half way through a blueberry muffin this morning and tasted throat fluid. Had to make a sharp dash to khazi but luckliy no mess.

Not really the answer you were looking for..... was it?

The scoff looks nice though. Shall I pack you a doggy bag?

Oh dear sorry to hear that Naros
I am still digesting yesterday's Tandridge carvery so fine thanks

"Oh Jeev Milkha Singh, you are the love of my life, oh jeev milkha singh, Id let you have my wife, oh jeev milkha singh, I wish I was Indian too......."

Salmon with cream cheese in a toasted bagel is perhaps one of the greatest things on this earth
