i am pretty forgettable,but even the website keeps forgetting me now,how to fix please,never had to keep putting details in now have to do it all the time,

same here i have to log in with p/word every time even though i tick remember me box . it also happened a few months ago but was sorted after a few days .

I am struggling to stay logged in long enough to post. Got the hump. Some one needs to fix this or I'm out.

I'm having no end of trouble logging in. It's completely random. Sometimes it lets me in, more often than not it doesn't. I'm being patient with it as these things happen, but I would prefer it to be fixed soon. It does feel like we aren't a priority at the moment. Never mind. Chin up. Stiff upper lip. Etc. etc.

Well, this is the first time I've been able to log in since about 8 o clock. I keep trying, it thanks me for logging in, then it kicks me out straight away. I've cleared the cache and history in the browser repeatedly over the last few days with very little joy. Sometimes it let's me in, then I can go for hours without any access. Bearing in mind that this is in the feedback section, could someone please let us know that this is being looked at still, or even if it's not. At least then I'll know that keeping trying is worthless.

Update.... After trying a few things, I've managed to log in on my phone. The problem may have been caused by the problem with the site not logging anyone out (check the homepage for people online). Yesterday I logged on with the wife's iPad. It seems that despite turning it off, the site might have thought I was still online on the iPad and therefore wouldn't let me on using the phone. As soon as I physically logged out on the iPad (name disappeared from the online list), it let me log on using the phone. Strange.

Hi all

aplogies for the ongoing issues on log in - this has all been prompted by a recent forum upgrade that is related to security issues

it should now be set to keep you logged in for 48 hours after you first log in (used to be logged in iuntil you physically logged out but security dont want that although I'm still lobbying for it)

however to activate the new 48 hour log in you will have needed to have cleared cookies (and probably history wouldnt hurt either) on EACH and EVERY device you access the forum from

in terms of this being a priority - yes its on the list but we have been on deadline this week and thw tech team are rolling out these chnages to laods of sites so are very stretched at the moment

I apprexiate its frustrating but it will get fixed - will uodate everyone when I have any further news
