I’ve got a motocaddy S1 trolley and have just bought a power bug lithium battery. But the trolley will not work when I connect the battery to it. Any ideas?

Why did you buy another battery ?
The problem might be the trolley.
Ask a friend can you try it on theirs to test it.

Maybe there's something in the circuitry detects a non Motocaddy battery and therefore not all connections are made...
Good way to tie you I to replacing with the real thing.....

I have the golf workshop lithium battery on my S1, have no issues it not being a genuine motorcaddy battery. As suggested, definitely try it on another trolley if you can.

A battery is a battery, the only difference is in the materials used and therefore the charger required. Motocaddy don't make their own batteries, they brand a Chinese made unit from a company that used to operate the name of which I cannot remember now.:)
