Last day in the office

Come on then, who else is kicking back on their last day in the office?

I've had a year of highs and lows and nearly all the lows are due to work. It's been a stressful year and I've had to put in some ludicrous hours to keep the project going. Pretty much got everything out the door yesterday and am eating mince pies, drinking coffee and am 100% feet up on the desk now. Been looking forward to this day for a long time.

Got my Xmas jumper on, already nipped out to the shops at 10am to get the wife's gin and pink champagne for Xmas Day and just about to have lunch.

Only other thing I've done today is eat sweeties.

I am doing today from home.... as I do most Fridays...

We had the usual Friday Team Skype, about half the usual number of attendees and nothing much discussed! I have a paper to write and hopefully will pack up quite early.

Not many on site today by the sound of it. The operational folk are all in over xmas though so business as usual over there

Been so busy this week but hopefully finish about 3. Did the butty run this morning, big boss has brought a couple of boxes of samosas in, biscuits/chocolate all of the place but it sounds like a doctors waiting room. Everyone has either a cold or a nasty cough, be good to get out of here before I pick something up.

Off until the 2nd, nice night away without the kids on the 27th and NYE party at ours. Can't wait.

Was at the office this morning after early physio session on me knackered shoulders, schools kicked kids out about 1200 with no bus service so had to join the melee of parents trying to park and collect kids. Now working from home...ahem... but truth be told there's nowt going on and they've had their pound of flesh over the year so I shall leave the VPN on and open a network file and do very little to it, need a wee nap to be honest!
We invoice as a percentage added to contract cost rather than on a time basis so makes little difference anyway.
