One of my favourite books for taking on holiday is The Hit List (by Chris Ryan).
If you like the McNab books that is well worth a look.

Wow, there's a blast from the past. Can't remember if I actually read them (sure I did), or saw the TV show with Mel & Griff?

Finished Dan Brown's latest - a bit of a let down after the last one :(. Now reading "A Diet for a New America" on the advice of Gary Player.

I'd forgotten they were serialised for tv, a lot of his books were come to that.
The one I remember best is Blott on the Landscape (David Suchet) - it's also one of the best books, along with The Throwback.
