Anyone recommend a decent 4K monitor, ideally in the 28-32" range, must be able to be VESA mounted.

Expect I will want an IPS panel (or maybe VA, not a TN panel), for working/trading/playing poker/the odd video etc. No gaming requirements.

I run two of these https://www.ebuyer.com/811132-acer-ka270hk-27-4k-uhd-monitor-um-hx0ee-012

Realise these are smaller than what you asked for but they are still a great size.

Both connect to a simple port replicator and then to my laptop.

Great image quality and anti glare matte screen. Have them VESA 100 mounted on a dual arm system.

Not many 4K panels that aren't TN and some of the gaming monitors are cheaper these days.

Thanks Greg

Currently have 2 24" Dell IPS screens (actually have 3 but only 2 in use at mo) in a similar set up, space requirements at least while were doing some renovations mean Im going to be limited to one wall mounted screen it seems, hence why Im tempted to go upto 32" to get the extra real estate.

Viewing angles important to me hence the preference for IPS panels

the Samsung UJ590/UH750 tempting to me as comes with PIP so would be able to run the laptop/sky through the same screen on the odd occasion I need it which would be a bonus, but only VA not IPS panels

Will take a look at the Acers and see if a similar model in 32" :)

Know what you mean about angle, I went IPS because of the arms angling the screens inwards.

Likewise, we renovated the spare room into an office space so made sure the two 27s would fit.

Acer are good so can imagine the 32" will fit the bill.

Might need to revise the thread title. Large and 28" don't belong in the same sentence anymore!

Thats certainly true for gaming but IMO 27"+ for a general admin/work screen is a decent size. I only have two as I use a lot of diagram software that needs a screen yo itself while email and other apps are open on the other.

But yeah, for games there are 55" monitors on the market. Plus you can always just use the Roger Melly via HDMI (but I find the risk is I start watching TV instead of working ;)).
