I’d suggest that his efforts are more for MBEs and OBEs than SPOTY.

Given that the P is for personality, I'm not sure how he doesn't qualify; his personality has shone through in his actions.

Emma Radacanu's achievement is fantastic, but I'm not sure that there's much personality shown in that win.

Maybe the BBC need to rename the award?
