Had the golf on (another work from home day!) for 20 minutes this morning. Stunningday in Austria on a beautiful course playing for a bucket load of cash.....what more could you want????

Seemingly, loads more!!!

Kenneth Ferrie looks as though he is completing a tax return or something. Seen him hit two approaches which he has sulked away from in digust - both shots have gone to 20' for good birdie chances.

Making TW look like a stand up comedian by comparison!!

Pressure of defending champion!

I have seen the guy on the course at an event and he was an utter misery there to, having a go at kids who'd applauded his tee shot before it had faded into the trees. "do you normally clap when the ball goes in the trees?" No need to for that kind of attitude.

Bellend.

What would he have done if they had said "Not usually, but we really don't like you!"

Funny you guys say that! I saw him this year at the PGA at wentworth... he pulled one badly left of a green resulting in a bad lie and then skulled his pitch over the green before proclaiming that wentworth is a 'goat track of a golf course'! Absolute dickhead. I can understand frustration and criticising their own play but he just sounded a bit pathetic blaming the course...

A lot of you are giving the lad bad press without knowing him.

He is anything but a bellend, perfectionist yes.

He also does a lot for kids and charities up here.

Talented golfer who with a bit more drive could have been a really good golfer,as it is he's a multiple winner.

It's not giving the lad bad press Dodge, it's what I've watched him do over the last hour. He may be the nicest guy in the world, but for the last hour he has acted like a tit

I agree up to a point, but for me you see people's true character when they are under pressure. The charity stuff is great but it doesn't change the fact that he's got a bit of form when it coems to on-course behaviour.

Being a perfectionist doesn't absolve players from their duties as pros represnting the game. Maybe he sees things differently.

Tiger does a lot for charity too apparently...... so we shouldn't judge Tiger when he's being an arrogant knob on the course, spitting/club chucking and being a miserable sod after his rounds?

To be fair i dont see anything wrong with him having a pop at himself because he wants to do better. I regularly swear at myself or tell myself i can do better unless ive done soemthing really good (not often).

Theres no need for having an attitude problem though is there? Having a pop at courses and other things including fans isnt gonna help anybody. We all know that golf is down to one person.

Gotta say.....Ive watched most of this too
And pains me to say it, as a fellow Geordie, he was miserable as hell, wuda made Monty look like a court jester today

To be fair Dodger is right, that isnt him, and surprising to hear hed take it out on kids in crowds
Nobody does more for kids golf in Northumbria, always gives up time for appearances, junior presentation nights at various local clubs, charity events, etc.......Hell, he even turned up on a sunday last year at a junior golf event my son was playing in, to be the 'Starter'........not planned, hed just missed a cut, and decided to give up his day.

I know he will be judged off TV today, but he genuinely is a Decent Guy.........

Good to hear. I'm quite happy to accept from those with knowldge that he's a good guy, but guess he just has trouble holding it together when he's "at work"

To be fair I've no issue with a guy not being happy at that level to bang it to 20 feet. It tells me he's trying and not accepting second best. Might be he's not happy with his game abd having to grind a score. So what if he looks miserable. Not so keen on helicoptering a putter whatever the length

Watched him go head to head with Monty a few years ago to finish second and I was pretty impressed.
He had the guts to go to America and gain his card,
Lots of talent but perhaps too much of a self critic, a bit like Paul Lawrie.

Between him, Kenny Perry and JM Singh, they give me hope that hackers swings can actually work!

As for Tommy 2 Gloves......
