Sitting down to watch the final round of the Hong Kong open on 'relive' my eye catches the lead item in Latest Golf News.

So I won't bother watching the next 4 hours now and will get on with some painting before the GP

At least on the mobile skin you can avoid it but on the tablet 😭

Same view with me. Just sat down to watch the recorded last 9 holes and realised I had already seen sight of the result.

I very rarely bother to watch sports on TV when I know the result.

Its one of the reasons I do not have email notifications turned on for this and other golf sites. The results are often given away in the headers.

So does this mean you don’t care how someone wins, only who wins?

I suffer from this same thing and avoid results, I find I can still enjoy the tension if I know the result but it’s not as exciting.

In the end I do want to find out how they won so I still watch.

It is mainly the excitement of watching how they played but (eg) knowing that Chawrasia never got it back after a triple somewhat takes away the enjoyment.
