After playing my playoff extremely badly friday as some people may of seen on the other thread I was out at 7:44 yesterday morning and im sure some of you can guess what happened. After playing like an absolute tool on Friday and really letting my partner down I played much better. I ended up with a gross 91 for a nett 70 in some testing conditions. The course was playing long as it was borderline waterlogged. I even had a 9 on the par 4 15th after a perfect drive and managed to double bogey the two easiest holes on the course which are usually meat and drink for me.

The CSS was 71 and with my 9 being rounded to a 7 my adjusted score was 68 for a nice 1.0 shot cut. I also won the bronze medal section.


This game is guaranteed to send anybody crazy!

Yeah thats the one Louise, its usually one of my favourite holes score wise :-(. Then you tee off on 16th in front of clubhouse just off to the right of 15th green.

It is a sport/game/pastime that can't be tamed and so I've stopped worrying. I practicve and work hard on my game but it'll be what it'll be on the day and I've given up figuring it out or trying to understand why I can play one nine well and chop the next and then go out next time and play the nines in reverse form. How can I go 86 in round 1 of the club champs and then have a PB 76 the next

Ive started to come to that conclusion as well Homer. I think it would help if i cared a little less too, its not easy but im gonna try! Yesterday i wasnt as bothered because i was angry after Fridays mess and i seemed a lot more free and easy and my game flowed a lot easier. Ive read in Bob Rotellas books thats its better to not care too much as well so maybe that could help me in the future .
