That's the trouble, without wishing to condone nuffin' it must be tough to turn down all the offers.
 
The point, surely, is not that he has had an affair (which I do not approve of), nor even that the lady was the girlfriend of one of his best friends - it is the fact that Wayne Bridge could be one of his colleagues at the World Cup.

I don't care for England's prospects (I'm a Chelsea fan first and foremost), but, as pointed out on the 5 Live earlier, this is going to destroy the squad morale in the summer, and may even result in Bridge missing out on the World Cup, through no fault of his own.

That said, he's just scored the winner at Burnley so he's back in my good books, at least for this evening ;)
 
Seems strange that Bridge had just broken into the Chelsea squad and was keeping a fit full back out and then suddenly is offered a move away. Chelsea obviously knew something was going on. Sadly JT seems to have fingers in a lot of murky pies and clearly isn't the role model the FA wants as captain. To be honest I don't think Bridge will make the world cup anyway but if Terry loses the respect of the changing room then I fancy Cappello to drop him to keep the camp intact.
 
How can anyone who shaggs a mates (close or otherwise) be trusted by anyone. When I was a young buck if any of my group of friends had touched another ones bird (without permission ;)) he'd have been chinned and out on his ear.It take s a special kind of scumbag to do that.

How can you even be talking about John Terry and Tiger Woods in the same sentance. They are worlds apart in both stature and ability.
Lets face it JT is only a footballer and a crap one at that.
 
To me, it isn't about whether or not he knocked off a team mates partner, or paid for her to have a termination (pretty low though). It is more about being stupid enough to try to get a court injunction against the press publishing the story, to protect his financial deals. Who the flip does he think he is? Face up to what you have done, and be a man about it. He is pathetic. I hope his sponsors sue him.

Oh yeah, and best Dad? Pull the other one. It isn't like he has been faithful before this, or never been in trouble. Jeez, he even does shady tours of the bridge to raise a bit more cash.

She should have done that yhirty years ago. It would have saved us all the trouble of having to read about it on every page of every paper.

He is a good centre half but plays even better at being an arrogant cock who thinks (like Gerrard) that he can do as he pleases and get away with it.
I for one would like to see Bridge tell him there are no hard feelings then "do him" in training in the prep for the WC
